About Us
Winter Mountain Farms was started in the spring of 2019 as a way for us to grow high quality beef for our friends and family along with teaching our children the value of hard work. Our animals spend all of their time relaxing in wide open pastures where they can concentrate on just being a cows. Our cattle are raised here on the farm, so we know exactly what they eat and how they have been treated. Our cattle receive the majority of their daily food, from the pastures that they roam, in the form of grass. During the winter months when the grass is not growing, we switch them over to a Wheat/Rye mix. Regardless of the time of year, we supplement their daily diet with high quality minerals and grain mix from the local grain mills. This allows our cattle to grow big and happy without the use of growth hormones.
Family Values and Hard Work
We are excited to be a family owned and operated farm selling direct to the consumer. We do our best to get the next generation involved as much as possible. Animal husbandry teaches young kids so much about proper animal care, the value of physical work and the importance of daily routines.
Quality Beef
Our team at Winter Mountain Farms are passionate about what they do. We work hard every day to ensure that our animals are well-cared for. Our beef is grain-finished to give it just the right amount of marbling. We are currently selling our beef by the Quarter, Half, or Whole.
